The mission of In Concert is to provide cultural and educational opportunities for residents of the Wet Mountain Valley by presenting live classical music performances and youth workshops.

IN CONCERT: CLASSICAL MUSIC IN THE VALLEY was founded in 2003 to provide live classical music for residents of the Wet Mountain Valley. In addition to an annual series of three concerts (Fall, Winter and Spring) In Concert sponsors performances and workshops for students at the Custer County Schools and a free band concert in June at the Hermit Pavilion. To support local artists, In Concert sponsors an art show in Studio 2 with each concert in its regular season.

Concerts are in Westcliffe at the Jones Theater.
To keep tickets affordable for all, prices remain
$15 for adults and $5 for students.

The 2021 concert series is tentative at this time because of Covid-19 restrictions. Two 2020 concerts, the Veronika String Quartet and the Denver Brass 5, have been postponed. Both concerts as well as the Levin-Davin harp and guitar duo will be rescheduled when live performances are possible. Check the In Concert website for confirmation and information about upcoming concerts.

In keeping with In Concert’s mission to bring classical music to all members of the community, the musicians will perform for students at the Custer County Schools on the day following community concerts.
