About
Mission: Wolf connects people with nature using hands-on experiential education. Through volunteer internships and national education programs, we inspire individuals to become stewards of the earth. While providing a home for rescued wolves and horses, we create opportunities for growth through community service and personal interactions with animals. We value education, sustainability, and improving relationships between people, animals, and the world around them.
We currently care for 21 wolves and wolf-dog crosses, as well as 4 teaching horses. Our facility is solar powered and completely off the grid. We strive to be an example of sustainable living, building with recycled materials, solar design and utilize renewable energy. Mission: Wolf offers tours by our volunteer staff of 6-12 people who live on-site. In addition, we host youth programs from around the world that indulge in thousands of hours of community service and experiential education programs each year.
In preparation for the upcoming year, we are in need of funds and supplies to continue rebuilding fence from last year’s catastrophic rain event, preserve more land in conservation for the wolves, and further our purpose of education vs. extinction. A complete wish-list can be found on our website. Any and all support is greatly appreciated.
