About

Thanks to our donors, the space museum is continually growing. We plan on doing something a little different with the donations that we receive from this year’s Spirit Campaign. We would like to bring former astronaut Duane Carey to Westcliffe to speak to students at the school during the 2022/23 school year. While this will cost quite a bit more than our usual field trip to the museum for the 4th grade class, we can reach out to a lot more of our youth in a single event.
Additionally, funds are used to cover shipping expenses for more artifacts to put on display. We are able to get most of our artifacts for free, but we do need to pay for shipping, restoration and upkeep. That’s where your donations come in and we appreciate every dollar we receive. Please visit our web site to see the changes that have been made possible through the Spirit Campaign.
